AGGREGATORS PARAMETERS CHANGE

This module is used to change some parameters on all integrated aggregators in the same time without the necessity to lg into each of them separately.

Configure parameters - dynamic manipulation
Where? Administration Panel > External reservations > Parameters change

To configure prices or other parameters - chose the room to which you want to apply changes and define new values.

In this panel you can manipulate not only pfares but also some other parameters, which are independent from each other. If you wish to update only one or some of them, chose the room and set the dates when the changes will be applied and leave other fields empty. Empty fields trigger no change to the aggregators settings on your rooms, so hitting the 'Update' button will not make any change if fields were empty.

Clicking the button below parameters fields will send the settings to the aggregators and immediate update, what you can check by opening their websites.

Fields

On each tab you'll define separately different types of parameters. After switching to another tab, the fields in the previous tab ate blanked to that to avoid undesired updates. Parameters changed on each of the tab have to be saved with the "Update" button before you go to another tab, if you indeed want to save them.

Availability:

Room - drop-down menu - indicate for which Alias of room-fare pair you will change the parameter

Change start date - date field - indicates the beginning of the period when the change will be applicable

Change end date - date field -  indicates the end of the period when the change will be applicable (has to be defined, you can not leave it empty)

Availability - numerical field - number of rooms that the hotel sells on the aggregator on specified dates. By default it's the max number of rooms defined in Aggregators configuration, but on certain days you may need to set a differnt value. System allows "planned overbooking" which means that you can set here a number that is bigger than your real availability for that day.

Update on  - tickbox - indicate on which aggregators you'd like to enter the above changed setting.

Update on aggregator - button - upon clicking the data will be sent to aggregators' server and updated. To enter the same parameters for another room group - change the name of the group in drop-down menu and click on the button again. After clicking this button the actualisation will take from a few seconds up to about a minute if you update all aggregators at once.

Rates:

Room / Change start date / Change end date - see above

Rate - numerical field - price defined in the administrative currency of the aggregator; depending on the aggregator it is:

• the amount that aggregator will pay back to hotel after having a room sold (the price for for the client will be then composed of this amount + agreed comission to aggregator + any applicable taxes) - this is the case for example with expedia.com
• the amount that will be displayed to the customer while making reservation (thus the price paid back to the hotel will be composed of this amount - agreed comission to aggrTegator and any applicable taxes) - this is the case for example for venere.com

Attention! If you use different administrative currencies on different aggregators you will have to update them in separate operations.

Min stay: (functional only for Venere)

Room / Change start date / Change end date - see above

Min lenght of stay - numerical field - minimum number of nights enabling booking of rooms from this group - when client is searching for shorter duration than this - the rooms will not be enabled for boking.

Parameters summary - visualization of aggregators settings

New! In the table in the lower part of the screen, on each of the tab you'll see the latest settings of all aggregators that your hotel uses.

In the default view the rows represent the room-fare aliases enabled on the aggregator and the columns represent days. In each cell of the body of the table you have:

1. either two numbers eg. "4/7" - for availability on the aggregator / real availability of the room group in the hotel
2. or the above two numbers and (below) the recently changed parameter - meaning that if you have just changed a parameter eg  rate, the new price will appear in the cells that were changed after clicking on the "Update" button
3. or "X" - to identify that the availability was switched off on the aggregator

Switching from one tab to another you will see different aggregator setting one at a time. Using "Next" and "Previous" buttons you can change the displayed period.
